Tech Land – Tech Rail Pool Project

The architectural studio Grupo Picad together with the company Vipecons located in the province of Castellón, have been commissioned to rehabilitate the terrace area and create a new swimming pool and bathroom in this private home.

The materials for the restoration of the terrace, creation of the swimming pool and bathroom, have been supplied by Natucer. In the plans made by Natucer, you can see the different forms of placement on the beach of the pool and in the glass of the same along with the wall of waterfall finished with a planter.

In the area of the beach, the extruded porcelain wood belonging to the Tech Rail Aspen series and with a format of 8×23,6 inches has been chosen. The crown of the pool has been made with two angular steps available in this collection. This non-slip porcelain wood is a good choice when installing on beaches because it is a Class III non-slip material with high technical requirements, thanks to its 14 mm thickness.

The Tech Land Basalt porcelain in 22.5×30 cm format has been used for the swimming pool’s glass, which adds a more urban and versatile touch to the room. The pool consists of an interior staircase made from the curved step from the Tech Land Basalt collection and an interior bench that occupies the entire front wall, which shows two waterfall inserts that produce a natural environment in which to sit and relax. The wall has been created with the 11×22,5 cm format from the Tech Land Basalt series and finished off with the 15×30 cm gutter, also available in this collection, to create a flower box, while the bench is composed of the curved step and the ceramic tile from the Tech Land Basalt collection in the 11×22,5 cm format.

The turquoise colour of the water is due to the incidence of the sun on the grey pieces of the Tech Land collection. This tile reveals a special finish as the characteristic roughness of the anti-slip product has been eliminated, obtaining a fine and smooth surface to the touch. In addition, these tiles have an antibacterial effect, thanks to the Active Oxygen that is produced after the incidence of light, which makes all the organic matter that falls on the surface become inert matter that will be dragged away by the water without difficulty.

Finally, the Tempo collection has been used to cover the bathroom, using the Tempo Atlantic 7×45 cm, Tempo Rice 22,5×45 cm tiles and the Tempo Lines Atlantic 10×10 cm decoration. This series is more than a trend, it is a lifestyle, as these pieces bring a little bit of the past and history to our present, creating warm and pleasant spaces.
